Phil Nash

 

Phil began his high school teaching career right after graduation from Pepperdine University. In the late '60s he developed and headed the Performing Arts department at Palos Verdes High School.

 

After Phil started the dramatic WORD he  moved to Oregon where he taught at Western Baptist College, George Fox College (now a university) and Chemeketa Community College. For 17 years he directed and narrated  the Portland Passion Play.

 

He returned to southern California to begin and chair the Theater Department at Azusa Pacific University. Many of his graduated students returned to perform as a troop for the dramatic WORD with Phil as their Mentor and Director.

 

Phil now lives in Hemet California with his wife Suzy.
